  Method of decorating eggs.

It is known that by transferring (copying) aniline inks, which are printed on tissue paper, colored patterns are obtained on eggs. So far, basic, acidic or eosin dyes have been used. In practical use in households it has now been found that these dyes have major disadvantages in terms of transfer; z. B. the drawings are not transferred sharply, but run out on the eggs. Furthermore, the water and the to

A method is now described below which completely eliminates these disadvantages of the papers produced up to now.

The process is based on the behavior of those dyes which, as free sulfonic acids, are sparingly soluble or not at all soluble in acidic or saline water and form insoluble, colored lacquers with calcium salts, namely sulfurized azo and polyazo dyes.

containing water. After removing the rag and paper, the egg appears with the drawings printed on it.
