Arrangement of the prongs on a receiving or conveying drum of a self-loading truck
EMI1.1

also holds in engagement with the square.
Due to the arrangement according to the invention, a hay or straw loading device can be removed very simply, cheaply and easily so that it can be easily removed from the loading wagon and this can then be used for other purposes. The inventive locking device for the prongs also ensures that these prongs are always kept protruding radially outward in front of and in the area of the conveying channel and can nevertheless turn over immediately upon exiting this conveying channel area without the conveyed material being jammed in between.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to schematic drawings of two exemplary embodiments. 1 shows a hay or straw loading device with a conveyor drum and a receiving drum and a tine arrangement according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the tines of the conveyor drum on an enlarged scale. Fig. 3 shows a section along the line A-B according to Fig. 2, Fig. 4 shows a detail.
The hay or straw loading device shown in Fig. 1 for attachment to a self-loading wagon, not shown, comprises a conveying channel --1-- and a conveying drum --2-- arranged in the upper area and a receiving drum - 3-- arranged in the lower area. The
EMI2.1
Drums are driven from one side in a ratio of about 1: 3 by a cardan shaft from the loading wagon. The lower take-up drum --3-- therefore has the higher speed.
With the shaft - 5 - of the upper drum and the shaft - 6 - of the lower drum are respectively

Side beyond the side flange --7 or 8 - and are milled flat to square pins --13 or 14. Over the square ends-14-of the lower take-up drum -3-, leaf springs provided with corresponding square slots grip one end of which is riveted onto the side flange-8 - of the take-up drum. These leaf springs --15-- hold the

their rear side has a T-shaped protruding rib --17--, which in turn is secured against sideways movement in corresponding slots - 18 - of the flange - 7 - of the conveyor drum.
These locking pieces - 16 - are pressed onto the square --13 - by leaf springs --19--.

Conveyor drum - 2 - attached. - 13 - lifts off. As a result, the rigid connection of the conveyor tines --11-- is released in a manner analogous to that of the receiving tines - 12 - of the lower drum 3 and these fold against the direction of rotation of the drums due to the counterpressure of the conveyed goods, so that the
EMI2.5
to clamp against the wall of this channel and thereby hinder the further transport of the conveyed material. The wedge-shaped angle piece 23, 29 is shown as a section along the line C-D according to FIG. 3 in FIG.
In the cover plate - 4 - there are round bars - 24 or 25 - at the slot ends

just touch.
In addition to the square - 13 or 14 - of the shafts - 9 or 10 - a small square --28-- is provided on the outer tapered end to straighten and hold the conveyor tines and receiving tines in the radial position which a resilient return arm - 26 - is attached. As the drums move on, this arm - 26 - touches a pin

on, axes - 5 or 6 - set up. The springs - 15 - or. the locking pieces - 16 - jump back into the square section - 13 or 14 - and the drivers are again held in the radial position.
