5,7 gestreut.

Process for the production of panels from fibrous materials and hydraulic binders.
The present invention relates to a method for the production of panels (boards) from fibrous materials of mineral, vegetable or animal origin and hydraulic binders, such as cement or the like Underlay to be applied dry.
The method consists in that the binding agent and the fibrous material are scattered separately or mixed in the dry state on a dry base and the water required for binding is applied in a finely atomized state immediately when the material strip is formed. The excess of water that is known to drown the hydraulic binder, i. H. the binding force is reduced or avoided or it is possible to use only as much water as the binding agent requires, so that the costly pressing and drying to remove the excess water is not necessary. The fibrous material can also be used in the form of a card web.
The binding agent and possibly part of the fiber material (the waste) is sprinkled on the dry Kanlenvlics, whereupon the water is atomized.
A device suitable for carrying out the method is shown schematically in FIG. 11 m of the drawing.
The loosened fiber material arrives on the conveyor belt 1 to the carding machine 2, in which the fiber material is processed into a thin fiber fleece, which at 3 reaches a moving endless belt 4. The belt 4 runs in waves over rollers f) to 9, above which a closed space 10 is arranged. The binding agent and the waste fiber material falling out of the carding machine 2 are mixed with one another in the dry state and fed into the funnel 11, from where this mixture is passed through a toothed roller to a brush roller 13 rotating at high speed.
The mixture is now by the centrifugal force of the brush roller 13 on the conveyor belt 4 and on the rollers located above the latter. 5.7 scattered.

onto the belt and onto the rollers 5, 7 etc., which are thereby nl) covered with a thin layer, which is pressed into the non-woven fabric and felted. Of course the thickness of the layer grows from roller, -) against roller! j, so that in the latter a material layer of the desired thickness leaves the space 10.
The matorial belt now arrives on the conveyor belt 4 between two press rollers 17, 18 and is from there between the belt 4
