Device for cleaning toilet systems
The invention relates to a device for cleaning toilet systems, with one on one
Toilet bowl in the area of the upper opening with the retracted opening edge reaching behind
Counterholders which can be fastened, the opening pressure-tight closing body, through which leads a connecting line opening on its underside, which can be connected to the outlet of a water tap.
The task of devices of this type is to enable a pressure-tight closure of the toilet bowl at the top, so as to enable pressurization and flushing of the drain of the toilet bowl in the event of blockages etc. without poking around in the drain of the toilet bowl or opening it of the cleaning cover attached to the back of most commercially available toilet bowls.
A known cleaning device provides a cross member which can be supported on the inside on the retracted opening edge of the toilet bowl and to which a closure body intended to terminate the flow of the mussel is fastened with a pressure spindle. This version has the disadvantage that it can only be used for toilet bowls with a roughly round, centrally attached drain, but not for the mostly used mussels with a drain attached to the front, and the closure body, moreover, at least partially in the drain, which is mostly soiled when clogged must be introduced.
Since the cross member is only supported at two points on the edge of the toilet bowl, there is a risk that the bowl itself will be pressurized when the closure body is tightened or when the space below the closure body is pressurized by the connection line leading to a water tap or the like, damaged.
In another known construction, a ring-shaped support body that can be placed on top of the toilet bowl is provided, which can be fastened to the toilet bowl by means of pivotable retaining brackets which extend over the outside of the toilet bowl and which carry locking screws, and which carries a closure body for the bowl and an inflatable sealing ring that is attached When inflated, it hugs the inner wall of the toilet bowl to form a seal. The connection line leading to the underside of the closure body is here connected to a hand pump that is mounted on the support ring.
Here, too, point-wise tightening of the support ring on the toilet bowl is necessary, so that there is again a risk of damage to the toilet bowl both by fastening the device and by the loads that occur when the hand pump is operated. The device described can moreover only be adapted to the dimensions of the toilet bowl to a very small extent, so that when using the toilet bowls of different designs at least one replacement of the sealing ring is necessary. The entire device is cumbersome to handle, relatively complex to construct and requires a relatively large amount of time to attach or dismantle.
The invention relates to an improvement of a device of the type mentioned and consists essentially in the fact that the closure body is constructed from several lamellas or the like, which can be adjusted relative to one another to adapt to different mussel opening contours, and the lamellas or the like are constructed in the manner of a lid, and the lamellas or the like are flexible downwards Sealing mat or the like. Are covered.
The design according to the invention makes it possible to attach the cover part to the contours

different toilet bowls to match exactly, so that the closure body is throughout
Edge area is supported from the inside on the opening edge and the forces that occur when pressure are applied are evenly distributed over the entire shell edge, whereby a
Risk of damage is largely reduced. Of course, the slats on their
Wear elastic pads on the top to further reduce the risk of damage. Since the
In the operating position, the lamellas grip the entire edge of the opening behind, it becomes possible to make do without any other supports.
The closure body is simply inserted and initially held in the predetermined position, after which the connection line is charged with water. The water pipe pressure not only acts on the drain of the toilet bowl, but the closure body is also sealed from the inside against the upper edge of the opening
Pressed mussel. The dismantling after the cleaning process can also be done quickly and easily. During operation, the closure body only comes into contact with practically non-soiling areas of the toilet bowl. In the case of existing water inlets of the toilet bowl leading to a low-pressure box or the like, it is advisable to attach sealing pieces to the closure body which close these inlets in the operating position so that pressure losses are avoided.
Furthermore, a holder in the form of a removable bandage will preferably be provided to fix the cleaning cover attached in the drainage area of the toilet bowl so that this cover is not loosened when the toilet bowl is pressurized.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated, for example, in the drawings. 1 and 2 show a device for cleaning toilet systems in plan view and in section along line II-II of FIG.
The closure body has a base plate --1-- on which two pairs of lamellas - 2, 3-- on the top and bottom of the plate with elongated holes - 4 - guided on guide ribs - 5 - and can be fastened with locking screws - 6 are. By adjusting the pairs of lamellae, the device can be adapted to different shell sizes and shapes. At the bottom, the device is sealed off in a liquid-tight manner by a sealing mat-7--, which is pulled up over the lamellae-21, 22 at the edge-8.
A line -9- that can be connected to a water tap is passed through the plate -l- and through the mat -7- and opens into an outlet -10-. The line -9- is sealed against the mat -7-.
To close off the water inlet of a toilet bowl, a sealing flap hanging down from the mat - 7 - can be provided. It is also advisable to additionally provide a removable bandage for the toilet bowl, with the aid of which the cleaning cover of the toilet bowl is held in place during operation of the cleaning device, in order to prevent the cover from loosening when the pressure is applied.
