Kragensteckdose
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Aluminiumdruckguss, ausgeführt werden.

Collar socket
The invention relates to a collar socket consisting of a socket upper part, a socket lower part and a bearing block, which is arranged on the socket lower part and carries the socket insert, and an armored threaded bushing for inserting the connecting cable. In the case of collar sockets of this type, it has hitherto been customary to let the dividing joint between the upper part of the socket and the lower part run above the armored thread. This has the disadvantage that the contact body is relatively difficult to access on the connection side.
The invention is based on the object of making the contact body on the connection side easily accessible from all sides.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the armored thread bushing can be fixed in an annular web formed on the lower part of the box, so that the dividing joint between the upper part of the box and the lower part of the box runs approximately in the middle of the armored thread bushing. As a result, the socket is also significantly lower in terms of division, without the armored thread itself being cut by the division joint, so that the connection cable is guaranteed to be fixed in any case.
In order to give the armor thread even greater strength, according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the annular web is provided on the outer circumference with a groove into which a web of the upper part of the can engages.
The collar socket according to the invention also has the advantage that the contact body is easily accessible on the connection side, although there is sufficient fastening for the armored thread because when the housing is assembled, the upper part of the socket holds the ring web in place via the web-groove connection. Until now, the view was that in order to have a stable insert hole for the armored thread, the wall of the lower part of the box had to be at least as high as this hole plus a web. The invention is based on the knowledge that the dividing joint can also be placed lower if it is ensured that the remaining ring web comes into engagement with the upper part of the can.
Further advantages and details of the invention emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawings. The drawings show: FIG. 1 a plan view of the can lower part, FIG. 2 a section along the line - AB - according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a front view of the can lower part, FIG. 4 a section along the line-EF -according to FIG. 1, FIG. 5 shows a rear view of the upper part of the can, FIG. 6 shows a front view of the upper part of the can, FIG. 7 shows a section along the line - -CD- according to FIG. 5, FIG. 8 shows a central section of the whole Upper part and lower part as well as socket insert existing collar socket.
In particular, from Fig. 1, 2 and 3 it can be seen that the can lower part-1-carries a bearing block - in which threaded bushings - 4 - are arranged distributed over the circumference for fastening the can insert-5. The arrangement is such that the
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Can insert-5-and fastening in any angular position is possible.
As can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 and 8, the dividing joint between the lower part of the can - 1 and the upper part of the can - 2 is very low, and the like. between about the height of the armored thread center-6--, arranged.
EMI2.1
As shown in FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 in particular, the can is provided with a closed can collar --10--. Such a closed socket collar has the advantage that incorrect insertion of the plug is not possible.
The bottom part of the box --1-- and the top part of the box --2-- are connected to each other by screws.
For this purpose, two or more threaded sockets --11-- are provided in the lower part of the box -11. In order to facilitate assembly, as can be seen in FIG. 4, in the lower part of the box-1 - over the threaded bushings -11-conical guide bushings -12-provided, which reduce the falling out of the screws and also allow easy assembly.
The collar socket can be used for different voltages and in a correspondingly modified size for different currents, in particular for currents between 16 and 200 amps. Can top and bottom can for example in plastic or in metal, for. B.
Die-cast aluminum.
