Anschlussstecker für Zündkerzen
Die Erfindung betrifft einen für Zündkerzen bestimmten Anschlussstecker mit senkrecht zu seiner Stek- kerachse verlaufender Kabelzuführung.
Ein besonders einfacher und billig herzustellender Stecker dieser Art besteht gemäss der Erfindung aus einem Isolierstoffteil mit einer auf die Mittelelektrode einer Zündkerze aufsteckbaren metallischen Stekkerbuchse an seinem einen Ende und mit einer an seinem andern Ende vorstehenden, mit der Steckerbüchse verbundenen Kabelanschlusselektrode einerseits, und aus einer darauf aufsteckbaren Isolierstoffkappe anderseits, die einen senkrecht zu ihrer Steckerachse verlaufenden Kanal für ein Anschlusskabel aufweist, in dessen Seele die Anschlusselektrode beim Zusammenstecken der beiden Teile eindringt.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Es zeigen : Fig. l einen Längsschnitt durch die beiden voneinander getrennten Hauptteile eines Anschlusssteckers samt dem Kopf einer Zündkerze in Ansicht. Fig. 2 ein Raumbild der beiden zusammengesteckten Steckerhauptteile samt Anschlusskabel.
Der Anschlussstecker besteht aus zwei Teilen 10 und 11. Der eine Teil ist ein Isolierstoffteil 10, dessen in der Zeichnung unten liegender Endabschnitt derart ausgehöhlt ist, dass er eine Zündkerze 12 teilweise zu umfassen vermag. Eine in der Längsachse des Isolierstoffteils angeordnete Steckerhülse 13 umschliesst das aus dem ZUndkerzenkopf herausragende Ende 14 der Zündkerzenmittelelektrode passend, wenn der Steckerteil 10 auf die Zündkerze aufgesteckt ist. Ein in der Längsachse des Isolierstoffteils 10 angeordneter Metallstift 15 ist mit dem Boden der Steckerhülse 13 verschraubt und ragt mit seinem oberen, als Stechspitze mit Holzschraubengewinde ausgebildeten Ende 16 aus dem Isolierstoffteil 10 heraus.
Der zweite Steckerteil 11 ist eine zylindrische Isolierstoffkappe, die auf das obere Ende des Teils 10 aufsetzbar ist und mit einem senkrecht zu ihrer Aufsteckachse verlaufenden sacklochartigen Querkanal 17 versehen ist, der zur Aufnahme eineb Anschlu kabelendes 18 dient. Vom Querkanal 17 zweigt eine in der Längsachse des Teiles 11 verlaufende Bohrung 19 ab.
Wenn das Anschlusskabelende 18 in den Kanal 17 eingeführt ist, bis es am Boden des Kanals anstösst, und die beiden Steckerteile durch gegenseitiges Verdrehen zusammengesteckt werden, schraubt sich die durch die Bohrung 19 hindurchtretende Stechspitze 16 durch das Ende des Kabels 18 und durch die Kabelseele hindurch, so dass eine stromleitende Verbindung zwischen der Kabelseele und der Steckerbüchse 13 zustande kommt und ausserdem die beiden Steckerteile sowie das Anschlusskabel fest miteinander verbunden sind. Die Isolierstoffkappe 11 ist aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff hergestellt.
In den Isolierstoffteil 10 kann an Stelle des durchgehenden Stiftes 15 ein Entstörwiderstand oder eine Funkenstrecke eingebaut sein.

Connector for spark plugs
The invention relates to a connection plug intended for spark plugs with a cable feed running perpendicular to its plug axis.
According to the invention, a particularly simple and cheap to manufacture plug of this type consists of an insulating material part with a metallic plug socket that can be plugged onto the center electrode of a spark plug at one end and a cable connection electrode that protrudes at its other end and is connected to the socket on the one hand, and one on it slip-on insulating material cap on the other hand, which has a channel running perpendicular to its plug axis for a connection cable, into whose core the connection electrode penetrates when the two parts are plugged together.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. They show: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the two main parts of a connector plug, which are separated from one another, together with the head of a spark plug in a view. 2 shows a spatial image of the two plugged-together connector main parts including the connection cable.
The connection plug consists of two parts 10 and 11. One part is an insulating material part 10, the end section of which, which is at the bottom in the drawing, is hollowed out in such a way that it is able to partially encompass a spark plug 12. A connector sleeve 13 arranged in the longitudinal axis of the insulating material surrounds the end 14 of the spark plug center electrode protruding from the spark plug head when the connector part 10 is plugged onto the spark plug. A metal pin 15 arranged in the longitudinal axis of the insulating material part 10 is screwed to the bottom of the plug sleeve 13 and protrudes from the insulating material part 10 with its upper end 16 designed as a piercing tip with a wood screw thread.
The second plug part 11 is a cylindrical insulating material cap which can be placed on the upper end of the part 10 and is provided with a blind hole-like transverse channel 17 running perpendicular to its attachment axis, which serves to receive a connection cable end 18. A bore 19 running in the longitudinal axis of the part 11 branches off from the transverse channel 17.
When the connecting cable end 18 is inserted into the channel 17 until it hits the bottom of the channel, and the two plug parts are plugged together by mutual rotation, the piercing tip 16 passing through the bore 19 screws through the end of the cable 18 and through the cable core , so that a current-conducting connection is made between the cable core and the socket 13 and, moreover, the two connector parts and the connection cable are firmly connected to one another. The insulating cap 11 is made of transparent plastic.
Instead of the continuous pin 15, an interference suppression resistor or a spark gap can be built into the insulating material part 10.
