Arrangement of snow catches.
The present invention relates to the type of snow guards in which a catch frame provided at the head with an upwardly curved catch plate is rotatably arranged on the lower edge of the roof surface, which is upright due to the slipping snow in a limited by stops or chains leading from its head to the roof Standing upright. The previously known snow catches of this type show the

maintained snow masses are stressed, and that on the other hand, the snow must remain until it thaws.
The present invention consists in an arrangement which avoids these disadvantages in that smaller snow gaiters are arranged next to one another on the roof hem and above them in rows on the roof, offset from one another, the ropes limiting the movement of the individual safety frames being guided through the roof and over the breakpoint are lengthened on the same, so that after loosening their fastening hpi at the same time as it slackens, a forward tilting of the individual frames and thereby the discharge of the snow that has caught up from the roof surface can be effected.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 and 2 the device in front, respectively. Side view, Fig. 3 shows a single frame in front and Fig. 4 in side view.
The known catch frames a are bent up at the head and, for example, divided by a sheet metal strip b into an upper part lined with a catch plate c and a lower part filled with wire mesh d, Eternit plates or the like, and rotatable around pins e in bearings 9 attached to the rafters A. . A rope l is connected to the head of each such frame, which limits the movement of the frame in a likewise known manner, which is lifted or lifted by the snow slipping off and under the catching surface c. in the position I and II (Fig. 1 and 2) is erected.
As mentioned, these frames had to be built very large and strong so far in order to keep the snow off the entire roof surface; According to the present invention, a row of small snow guards are arranged at the bottom of the roof hem and above, on the roof, several rows of also small snow guards, the frames of the individual rows being one frame length apart and offset from those of the next row. As a result, each frame only has to stop a small amount of snow, so that not only the large structures of the previous snow catchers on the roof are avoided, but also a more even load on the roof takes place after the slipping snow has been caught.
The ropes l connected to the frame are led through sheet metal capsules m into the space below the roof and on the inside of the roof on hooks k of rods i or the like held in bearings h by means of loops, whereby the erection of the frame is limited . These ropes are extended to the inside of the roof to \ 1 beyond the loops, so that they can also be released further after loosening them from the hooks k and then the frame under the action of the
