Schutzmantel für den Gummimantel von Pneumatikreifen.
Vorliegende Erfindung hat einen Schutzmantel für die Gummimäntel von Pneumatikreifen zum Gegenstande und besteht darin, dass der Schutzmantel und der Laufstreifen desselben aus gegerbten, unenthaarten Häuten oder Fellen besteht, die mit der behaarten Seite gegen die Lauffläche gekehrt sind.
Diese Schutzmäntel bieten den Vorteil, dass sie erstens vollkommen wasserdicht sind und zweitens ebenfalls zufolge der Behaarung die Wärme schlecht leiten, wodurch der Gummimantel vor zu hoher Erhitzung bewahrt und dadurch geschont wird.
Falls der Laufstreifen mit Nieten zwecks Verhinderung des Gleitens versehen ist, kann, um die Übertragung der Wärme von den inneren Köpfen der erhitzten Nieten auf den Gummimantel zu verhindern, auf der Innenseite des Schutzmantels ein mit der behaarten Seite gegen die inneren Nietkopfe anliegender Fellstreifen angeordnet sein.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Schutzmantel nach vorliegender Erfindung dargestellt. Über dem Gunllnimant {11 A ist der Schutzmantel B mit seinem Laufstreifen C angeordnet. An der Innenseite des Schutzmantols ist der die inneren Köpfe der Nieten a überdeckende Fellstreifen b angebracht.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Schutzmantel für den Gummimantel von Pneumatikreifen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass derselbe sowie dessen Laufstreifen aux gegerbten, unenthaarten Häuten oder Fellen besteht, die mit der behaarten Seite gegen die Lauffläche zu gekehrt sind.
