   Schaftstiefel mit dor Länge nach geteiltem, Gamachen ähnlichen Schaft, dessen Ränder   einander überlappen,   sind bereits bekannt. Das Neue der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass die   Schaftränder   an den Berührungsstellen mit Dichtungsstreifen belegt sind, um einen vollkommen wasserdichten Abschluss des Schaftes zu erzielen. 



   Auf der Zeichnung ist ein derartiger Stiefel in einer Ausführungsform dargestellt. 



   Der aus beliebigem Stoff bestehende Schaft b ist der Länge nach geteilt, so dass seine   Ränder einander überlappen.   Längs der   beiden Schaftränder   sind breite Dichtungsstreifen c und d aus Gummi oder dgl. angeordnet. Die auf beiden Seiten des Schaftes über Kreuz angebrachten   Haken   e dienen zum Schliessen des Schaftes mittels des Schnürriemens f. 



    Eine Schnalle g sichert   den   Verschluss   am oberen Ende.
