Plate, especially for interior wall cladding
The invention relates to a panel, in particular for interior wall cladding, with a mesh-like support that extends over the entire panel surface on the rear side and serves for the mortar bond.
The well-known wall panels for cladding purposes made of glass, marble, ke: Amisches material u. Like. Are either mechanically attached to the surface to be clad or there is a mesh overlay on the back of the panels, e.g. B. a wire mesh is provided through which the bond with the mortar layer is established. The mesh cover is glued to the plate or, in the case of glass plates, sunk into it.
Plastic cladding panels are attached either with special adhesives or by means of individually glued anchoring elements.
The invention proposes a wall panel made of plastic, on the back of which a support is arranged over the entire surface of the panel, which is used to bond with a mortar layer, the connection of the support to the thin plastic panel being carried out at normal temperature and without using its own adhesive.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the plate consisting of a plastic that hardens irreversibly at normal temperature, preferably a polyester, is connected to a layer of wire brick fabric via an intermediate layer made of the same plastic and mixed with fillers such as glass fibers.
The cladding panel consisting of a polyester or epoxy resins or the like can be kept very thin and nevertheless has a high chemical and mechanical resistance.
The advantageous simplicity of manufacture lies in the choice of plastic and the resulting possibility of curing both layers at the same time at normal temperature.
At the same time, when the plastic hardens, there is a permanent and strong connection between the plate and the wire-brick mesh layer.
The use of wire brick mesh, which is generally known for the connection of mineral layers, gives the thin plastic plate not only its good adhesion but also static advantages and also enables the plates to be used as facing bricks.
