Solid and liquid fuel heating stove
The invention relates to a heating furnace for solid and liquid fuels with an within one
Heating jacket arranged pot evaporator and a grate which, when the pot evaporator is removed, divides the space formed by the heating jacket into a heating chamber and an exhaust gas chamber, the
Heating jacket is closed at its upper end by a removable lid.
Stoves of this type have already become known, but they have the disadvantage that the grate, which is usually removed for operation with liquid fuel, has to be stored separately and, since it is a relatively small object, is easily lost.
With the invention, this disadvantage is now to be eliminated and, at the same time, the possibility of properly accommodating the grate during the transport of the heating furnace should be created.
This object is achieved by the proposal according to the invention, according to which a holding device for the grate is provided on the cover of the heating jacket, which fixes it in the upper part of the heating room when the heating furnace is operated with liquid fuel.
In ovens that have an exhaust pipe connection at the upper end of the heating jacket, a particularly advantageous embodiment is obtained when the holding device provided on the cover is arranged so that the grate fixed by it lies between the lower part of the heating chamber and the opening of the exhaust pipe connection. As a result, the grate acts as a throttle device when the heating furnace is operated with liquid fuel. So it is not only properly housed, but also has the advantage that the entire radiator can be reduced in size due to the flame retention achieved.
A very simple solution of this type is that the cover of the heating jacket is provided with a connection for the exhaust pipe and the grate is arranged directly under the cover.
The proposed solutions are particularly advantageous if the pot evaporator is held within the heating jacket in a known manner by a horizontally arranged ring on which it rests with its upper edge, the dimensions of the heating jacket cover being chosen so that the pot evaporator can be removed from above is. In this way, not only can the position of the grate be changed by removing the heating jacket cover, but the pot evaporator can also be removed at the same time.
In a somewhat poorer embodiment of the solution proposed by the invention, the holding device for the grate can also be firmly attached to the heating jacket in the upper area of the heating space, but the removal of the pot evaporator is made somewhat more difficult.
If, in the embodiments described above, the diameter of the grate is larger than the inner diameter of the retaining ring, but smaller than the diameter of the heating jacket, all that is required to convert to solid fuels after removing the pot evaporator is to pull the grate out of its holder on the lid and place it on the retaining ring to be laid.
In the explanation of the drawings, an embodiment is described to which the invention is in no way limited.
The pot evaporator 1 shown in the drawing, which is arranged within a heating jacket 2, is supplied with the fuel via the connection line 3 from a fuel container, not shown, via a control system, also not shown.
During the heating operation with liquid fuel, the grate 4 is located by the holding device

5 is held on the cover 6 of the heating jacket 2 within the heating space 7, in front of the opening 8 of the exhaust pipe connection 9.
If you want to switch the operation to solid fuel, the cover 6 is removed and the pot burner 1 lifted upwards. The grate is then pulled out of its holder 5 and placed on the retaining ring 10, on which, when the pot evaporator 1 is inserted, it rests with its upper edge 11. The space formed by the heating jacket 2 is then divided into a heating space 7 and an ash space 12 by the grate.
