  Dosendeckel, insbesondere aus Kunststoff 
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen insbesondere aus Kunststoff, wie z. B. Polyäthylen od. dgl. bestehenden Dosendeckel mit einem abgesenkten Boden und einer Umfangswandung, die im Schliesszustand des Deckels dicht   in die Dosenöffnung eingreift   und mit einem am oberen Teil dieser Wandung vorgesehenen. äusseren Umfangswulst auf dem Rand der Dosenöffnung aufliegt und an ihrem oberen Rand mit einem einwärts gerichteten Flansch versehen ist. 



   Um einen genügend dichten Abschluss der Dose zu erhalten, müssen solche Deckel ziemlich satt passend angefertigt werden, so dass man öfters einige Mühe hat, die Dose zu öffnen. Man hat deshalb bereits vorgeschlagen, am Dosendeckel einen das Öffnen der Dose erleichternden Griffteil vorzusehen. Dieser Griffteil besteht in einem   äusseren,   am oberen Teil der Dosenwandung vorgesehenen Ringflansch, an dem der Deckel zum Öffnen desselben   gefasst wird.   Ein solcher Griffteil ist aber vom praktischen Standpunkt aus unerwünscht, weil er über die zylindrische Dosenwandung hinausragt und die Dosen beim Versand nicht eng genug aneinandergerückt werden können. Ausserdem besteht die Gefahr, dass sie, eben weil dieser Griffteil nach aussen vorsteht, in unbeabsichtigter Weise geöffnet werden. 



   Man hat deshalb auch schon vorgeschlagen, diesen Griffteil in der Mitte des Deckels nach oben vorspringen zu lassen, was wiederum insofern nachteilig ist, als sich solche Deckel durch einen in der Mitte ausgeübten Zug nicht leicht öffnen lassen. Ausserdem verunmöglichen solche Griffteile das Aufstapeln der verschlossenen Dosen aufeinander. 



   Es sind ferner Dosendeckel bekannt, die an ihrem oberen Ende mit einem einwärts gerichteten Flansch versehen sind. Diese Deckel lassen sich jedoch nur mit einem als Öffner zu verwendenden Hilfsmittel leicht öffnen. Diese Nachteile werden beim Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch behoben, dass der einwärts gerichtete Flansch des Dosendeckels erfindungsgemäss als ein sich nur über einen Teil des Deckelumfanges erstreckender, über die Umfangswandung nach innen vorspringender Griffflansch ausgebildet ist. In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht. 



   Fig. 1 ist ein senkrechter Schnitt durch einen Dosendeckel und Fig. 2 ist eine Oberansicht dazu. 



   Der Dosendeckel gemäss Fig.   l   und 2 hat einen abgesenkten Boden a und eine Umfangswandung al. die im Querschnitt nach aussen leicht bombiert ist und im Schliesszustand des Deckels dicht in die Öffnung der Dose greift, von der in Fig.   l   der obere Teil in strichpunktierten Linien angedeutet ist. Am oberen Teil dieser Wandung ist ein äusserer Umfangswulst a2 vorgesehen, mit dem der Deckel auf dem Rand der Dosenöffnung aufliegt. Die Umfangswandung al ist an ihrem oberen Rand mit einem nach innen vorspringenden Griffflansch a3 versehen, der sich nur über einen Teil des Umfanges dieses Randes erstreckt und sichelförmig ausgebildet ist. Zum Öffnen des Dosendeckels greift man mit den Fingerspitzen der einen Hand unter diesen Griffflansch und kann den Deckel so mit Leichtigkeit aus seiner Schliesslage herausheben. 



   Als Material für den oben beschriebenen Dosendeckel kommt insbesondere ein Kunststoff, wie z. B. 



  Polyäthylen, in Frage. Dabei werden solche Deckel dann in sehr rationeller Weise im Spritzverfahren hergestellt. Dadurch, dass sich der Griffflansch nur über einen Teil des Randes der Umfangswandung al erstreckt, ist diese Herstellungsweise mit den heute angewendeten, mehrteiligen Spritzformen in keiner Weise behindert, was nicht der Fall wäre, wenn sich der Griffflansch über den ganzen Umfang des Randes der Wandung al erstrecken würde. Insofern hat also die besondere Ausbildung des Griffflansches as in spritztechnischer Hinsicht eine ausschlaggebende Bedeutung.

It has therefore already been proposed to provide a handle part on the can lid which makes opening the can easier. This handle part consists of an outer ring flange provided on the upper part of the can wall, by which the lid is gripped in order to open it. Such a handle part is undesirable from a practical point of view because it projects beyond the cylindrical wall of the can and the cans cannot be moved close enough to one another during shipping. There is also the risk that, precisely because this handle part protrudes outwards, they will be opened inadvertently.



   It has therefore already been proposed to let this handle part protrude upwards in the middle of the cover, which in turn is disadvantageous in that such covers cannot be easily opened by a pull exerted in the middle. In addition, such handle parts make it impossible to stack the closed cans on top of one another.



   There are also known can ends which are provided with an inwardly directed flange at their upper end. However, these covers can only be easily opened with an aid that can be used as an opener. These disadvantages are eliminated in the subject matter of the invention in that the inwardly directed flange of the can lid is designed according to the invention as a grip flange which extends only over part of the lid circumference and protrudes inwardly beyond the circumferential wall. An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.



   Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a can lid and Fig. 2 is a top view thereof.



   The can lid according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a lowered base a and a peripheral wall al. which is slightly cambered outward in cross section and, when the lid is closed, engages tightly into the opening of the can, of which the upper part is indicated in dash-dotted lines in FIG. On the upper part of this wall an outer circumferential bead a2 is provided with which the lid rests on the edge of the can opening. The circumferential wall a1 is provided on its upper edge with an inwardly protruding grip flange a3 which extends only over part of the circumference of this edge and is sickle-shaped. To open the can lid, one grips with the fingertips of one hand under this handle flange and can thus easily lift the lid out of its closed position.



   The material used for the above-described can lid is in particular a plastic, such as. B.



  Polyethylene, in question. Such covers are then produced in a very efficient manner using an injection molding process. Because the handle flange extends only over part of the edge of the peripheral wall al, this production method is in no way hindered with the multi-part injection molds used today, which would not be the case if the handle flange extends over the entire circumference of the edge of the wall al would extend. In this respect, the special design of the grip flange as is of decisive importance in terms of injection technology.
