  Dosendeckel, insbesondere aus Kunststoff
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen insbesondere aus Kunststoff, wie z. B. Polyäthylen oder dergleichen bestehenden Dosendeckel mit einem abgesenkten Boden und einer Umfangswandung, die dazu bestimmt ist, im Schliesszustand des Deckels dicht in die Dosenöffnung einzugreifen, und mit einem am oberen Teil dieser Wandung vorgesehenen Umfangswulst, der auf dem Rand der Dosenöffnung aufzuliegen bestimmt ist.



   Um einen genügend dichten Abschluss der Dose zu erhalten, müssen solche Deckel ziemlich satt passend angefertigt werden, so dass man öfters einige Mühe hat, die Dose zu öffnen. Man hat deshalb bereits vorgeschlagen, am Dosendeckel einen das Öffnen der Dose erleichternden Griffteil vorzusehen.



  Dieser Griffteil besteht in einem äusseren, am oberen Teil der Dosenwandung vorgesehenen Ringflansch, an dem der Deckel zum Öffnen desselben gefasst wird. Ein solcher Griffteil ist aber vom praktischen Standpunkt aus unerwünscht, weil er über die zylindrische Dosenwandung hinausragt und die Dosen beim Versand nicht eng genug aneinandergerückt werden können. Ausserdem besteht die Gefahr, dass die Dosen, eben weil dieser Griffteil nach aussen vorsteht, in unbeabsichtigter Weise geöffnet werden.



   Man hat deshalb auch schon vorgeschlagen, diesen Griffteil in der Mitte des Deckels nach oben vorspringen zu lassen, was wiederum insofern nachteilig ist, als sich solche Deckel durch einen in der Mitte ausgeübten Zug nicht leicht öffnen lassen. Ausserdem verunmöglichen solche Griffteile das Aufstapeln der verschlossenen Dosen aufeinander.



   Diese Nachteile werden beim Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch behoben, dass die Umfangswandung desselben an ihrem oberen Rand mit einem sich nur über einen Teil des Umfanges dieses Randes erstrekkenden, nach innen vorspringenden Grifflansch versehen ist.



   Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht.



   Fig. 1 ist ein senkrechter Schnitt durch einen Dosendeckel, und
Fig. 2 ist eine Oberansicht dazu.



   Der Dosendeckel gemäss Fig. 1 und 2 hat einen abgesenkten Boden a und eine Umfangswandung   at,    die im Querschnitt nach aussen leicht bombiert ist und im Schliesszustand des Deckels dicht in die Öffnung der Dose greift, von der in Fig. 1 der obere Teil in strichpunktierten Linien angedeutet ist. Am oberen Teil dieser Wandung ist ein äusserer Umfangswulst ao vorgesehen, mit dem der Deckel auf dem Rand der Dosenöffnung aufliegt. Die Umfangswandung   a1    ist an ihrem oberen Rand mit einem nach innen vorspringenden Grifflansch   a3    versehen, der sich nur über einen Teil des Umfanges dieses Randes erstreckt. Eine besonders gefällige Form des Griffflansches ist die aus Fig. 2 ersichtliche Sichelform.



  Zum Öffnen des Dosendeckels greift man mit den Fingerspitzen der einen Hand unter diesen Griffflansch und kann den Deckel so mit Leichtigkeit aus seiner Schliesslage herausheben.



   Als Material für den oben beschriebenen Dosendeckel kommt insbesondere ein Kunststoff, wie z. B.



  Polyäthylen, in Frage. Dabei werden solche Deckel dann in sehr rationeller Weise im Spritzverfahren hergestellt. Dadurch, dass sich der Grifflansch nur über einen Teil des Randes der Umfangswandung   a1    ersteckt, ist diese Herstellungsweise mit den heute angewendeten, mehrteiligen Spritzformen in keiner Weise behindert, was nicht der Fall wäre, wenn sich der Grifflansch über den ganzen Umfang des Randes der Wandung   a1    erstecken würde.   



  
 



  Can lids, in particular of plastic
The present invention relates to a particularly made of plastic, such as. B. polyethylene or the like existing can lid with a lowered bottom and a peripheral wall, which is intended to engage tightly in the closed state of the lid in the can opening, and with a circumferential bead provided on the upper part of this wall, which is intended to rest on the edge of the can opening .



   In order to obtain a sufficiently tight closure of the can, such lids have to be made to fit rather closely, so that it is often difficult to open the can. It has therefore already been proposed to provide a handle part on the can lid which makes opening the can easier.



  This handle part consists of an outer ring flange provided on the upper part of the can wall, by which the lid is gripped in order to open it. Such a handle part is undesirable from a practical point of view because it projects beyond the cylindrical wall of the can and the cans cannot be moved close enough to one another during shipping. There is also the risk that the cans will be opened unintentionally precisely because this handle part protrudes outwards.



   It has therefore already been proposed to let this handle part protrude upwards in the middle of the cover, which in turn is disadvantageous in that such covers cannot be easily opened by a pull exerted in the middle. In addition, such handle parts make it impossible to stack the closed cans on top of one another.



   These disadvantages are eliminated in the subject matter of the invention in that the circumferential wall of the same is provided at its upper edge with an inwardly protruding gripping flange which extends over only part of the circumference of this edge.



   An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.

   The can lid according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a lowered bottom a and a circumferential wall at which is slightly cambered in cross-section and, when the lid is closed, engages tightly into the opening of the can, of which the upper part in FIG Lines is indicated. On the upper part of this wall an outer circumferential bead ao is provided with which the lid rests on the edge of the can opening. The circumferential wall a1 is provided on its upper edge with an inwardly projecting gripping flange a3 which extends only over part of the circumference of this edge. A particularly pleasing shape of the grip flange is the sickle shape shown in FIG.



  To open the can lid, one grips with the fingertips of one hand under this handle flange and can thus easily lift the lid out of its closed position.



   The material used for the above-described can lid is in particular a plastic, such as. B.



  Polyethylene, in question. Such covers are then produced in a very efficient manner using an injection molding process. Because the handle flange extends only over part of the edge of the peripheral wall a1, this production method is in no way hindered with the multi-part injection molds used today, which would not be the case if the handle flange extends over the entire circumference of the edge of the wall a1 would stretch.

PATENT CLAIM Can lid with a lowered base and a peripheral wall which is intended to engage tightly into the can opening when the lid is closed and with a peripheral bead provided on the upper part of this wall, which is intended to rest on the edge of the can opening, characterized in that the peripheral wall (a) is provided on its upper edge with an inwardly projecting gripping flange (a3) which extends over only part of the circumference of this edge.
