Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Massagemittels.
Die Verwendung des Tragant zur Erzeugung von Salben, z. B. des Levorins-eines Schönheitsmittels - ist belolllnt. Durch das in den Apothekenbetrieben allgemein übliche Verreiben der festen Körper mit geringen Mengen von Fett oder Ul kann jedoch nie dem Tragant innewohnende Heilfähigkeit und auch Aufsaugungsfähigkeit für andere einzuverleibende Stoffe in dem Masse erschlossen worden, dass diese Eigenschaften der Droge voll zur Wirkung kommen können. Erst durch das den Gegenstand dieser Erfindung bildende Verfahren wurde es möglich, die bisher noch nicht erschlossenen, heilwirkenden Eigenschaften des Gummi Tragantbao zur vollen Verwertung zu bringen.
Zu diesem Zwecke werden im Vakuumapparate 9 Teile Gummi traganth. unter Zusatz von 200 Tci) en Aq. caicis, 30 Teilen Glyzerin und 200 Teilen Aq. Rosar. bei einem Siedepunkte von 500 C homogenisiert, 6 Teile Camphora, 40 Teile Lavendelspiritus.
40 Teile Bienengeist, 10 Teile Ammoniak, 12 Teile Perubalsam zugesetzt und gleichmässig gemengt. Der in Verwendung kommende Bienengeist wird in folgender Weise erzeugt : Bienen 1 Teil werden mit je 2 Teilen verdünntem Alkohol und Brunnenwasser durch drei Tage digeriert, worauf 2 Teile abgezogen werden. Es muss allerdings zugegeben werden, dass es bekannt ist, dass das im Tragant enthaltene Polysaccharid Bassorin von der Formel
