Process for the preparation of new derivatives of 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2, 2'-disulfonic acid
It is already known that some derivatives of 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid, which can be used as optical brightening agents, are prepared, initially 1 mol of 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2, 2'-disulfonic acid or a salt thereof are reacted with 2 moles of cyanuric chloride and this compound is allowed to react with 2 moles each of a basic nitrogen-containing compound such as ammonia or an aromatic amine and 2 moles of aminopropanol or aminoethanol. This creates compounds of the general formula:

where X is an aromatic amine radical or - nez and Y is the propanol or ethanol radical.
It has also already been proposed that stilbene used as optical brightening agents

To prepare 6-dichlorotriazine, primary or secondary amine, by the alkoxylated dichlorotriazine formed in the reaction of cyanuric chloride with a primary alcohol in the presence of an acid-binding agent in an aqueous-alcoholic suspension directly, without prior separation, with 4,4'-diaminostilbene- 2,2'-disulfonic acid is condensed at a temperature of 5 to 200 ° C. and the resulting triazinyl derivative of diaminostilbene disulfonic acid is reacted with a primary or secondary amine at 80 to 90 ° C. The products obtained in this way fluoresce greenish-blue in ultraviolet light and have a good affinity for cellulose and polyamide fibers.
They are also suitable for increasing the white content of colorless textiles.
It has now been found that new derivatives of 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2, 2'-disulfonic acid, which can also serve as optical brighteners, are obtained if 1 mol of the disodium prepared in a known manner
