Kupplungsvorrichtung
Fig. 1 zeigt den ungekuppelten, Fig. 2 den gekuppelten Zustand.

Coupling device
The invention relates to a coupling device for the quick connection of pipes and other structural parts, using an elastic sealing ring that can be rolled between a cylindrical and a conical surface and a second clamping ring.
In known pipe or rod connections of this type, the movement of the elastic sealing ring is limited by stops in the form of indentations on the coupling piece or by the arrangement of beads or grooves. The parts to be connected are sealed and coupled by the squeezed sealing ring.
It is also known to arrange an additional protective ring in pipe connections with a rolling sealing ring. The additional protective ring, however, only serves to improve the seal, to protect against the rolling seal from being pushed out or to protect against the ingress of foreign matter.
The invention achieves a significant improvement in the coupling function in a simple manner in that a stop is formed in the narrower end region of the conical part on the inner surface of the coupling piece, by means of which a clamping ring, which is made of a harder material compared to the elastic sealing ring, limits its axial displacement is, wherein the clamping ring is axially displaceable by the elastic sealing ring rolling up to the stop in the part of the coupling piece adjoining the stop and tapering towards the tube, with a clamping connection.
By arranging a hard rubber ring or a resilient metal ring as an additional clamping ring, a functionally reliable coupling that is easy to assemble and detachable is created, which is suitable for connecting pipes made of metal, plastic, Eternit, etc. of any diameter.
The embodiment according to the invention can be designed both as a single coupling on one pipe end or in a double design on a double coupling piece. In addition, the invention can also be used for clamping rods and other structural parts, especially those with a round cross-section.
In the drawing, the example of a coupling piece is shown in section.
Fig. 1 shows the uncoupled, Fig. 2 the coupled state.
On the coupling piece 1, which is designed as a pipe end, there are annular grooves 3 and 4 for mounting the elastic sealing ring 5, between which the coupling piece 1 is conical.
In addition to the known ring groove 4 with a smaller diameter on the side facing away from the larger ring groove 3, the clamping ring 6, which consists for example of hard rubber, is arranged.
It is limited in its axial displaceability by the stop 7 against the annular groove 4. The end part 8 of the coupling piece 1 is designed to taper towards the pipe 2. With a arranged for mechanical reinforcement of the coupling piece 1 metal ring is designated.
During the coupling process, the pipe 2 is pulled out of the coupling piece 1. As a result of the friction, the elastic sealing ring 5 rolls from the larger annular groove 3 into the smaller annular groove 4 and is squeezed as a result of the reduction in diameter. The sealing ring 5 protruding laterally out of the annular groove 4 in this state now presses the clamping ring 6 under the tapering part 8 of the coupling piece 1, creating an additional clamping connection between the coupling piece 1 and the tube 2.

The connection is released by pushing the pipe 2 into the coupling piece 1. The sealing ring 5 rolls back into the larger annular groove 3 and the clamping ring 6 approaches the stop 7. The inner diameter of the non-squeezed sealing ring 5 and the clamping ring 6 are held in such a way that the tube 2 can now be pulled out of the coupling piece 1 while rotating.
