Die Zeichnung stellt das neue Rückstauventil in der Anwendung für die Pumpensaugleitung eines Fäkalienabfuhrfasses im Schnitt dar.
Dasselbe besteht ans einem zwischen Saugleitung h der Pumpe und Saugöffnung k des Fäkalienabfuhrbehälters a eingeschalteten Gehänse m, welches, um die richtige Funktionierung des Ventiles von aussen beobachten zu können, vorzugsweise als Glaszylinder ausgeführt wird, in dessen oberer, an der Innenseite zu einem Ventilsitz n ausgedrehter Muffe das Ventil o geführt ist. Dieses Ventil o ist gemäss vorliegender Erfindung durch eine abwärts führende Stange oder ein Rohr p mit einer durchbrochenen, zur Führung des Ventiles dienenden Scheibe q verbunden ; die unten nach innen eingezogenen Zapfen oder Stangen 8 sichern das Ventil o vor gänzlichem Herabfallen.
