   Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Rad, dessen Radkranz aus Holzstücken gebildet wird. Das charakteristische Merkmal des neuen Rades besteht darin, dass die Holzstücke, wenn sie nach längerem   Gebrauche   zusammenschrumpfen und sich lockern, in einfacher Weise wieder nachgezogen werden können, so dass ein Klappern der gelockerten Holzteile verhütet wird. 



   Fig. 1 der Zeichnung zeigt eine Ansicht des Rades, während Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt desselben darstellt. Das Rad besteht aus dem die Holzstücke aufnehmenden Radkörper a, einer einsetzbaren   Lagerbüchse   und dem   ringförmigen   Reifen c. Der Radkörper a ist über der   Achshüchse   hohl gestaltet, so dass ein Raum d entsteht. der zur Aufnahme des   Schmiermaterials   dient. Die Holzteile werden durch Schraubenbolzen e mit dem Radkörper a und dem Reifen c verbunden bezw. zwischen diesen festgepresst Damit ein Lockern nicht eintreten kann, werden die Innenseiten der Kränze zweckmässig wie bekannt mit Zähnen oder Stiften besetzt.
