Heat insulating component
Heat-insulating components in which, among other things, heat-reflecting metal surfaces, preferably metal foils, e.g. B. aluminum foils, are used, fulfill their purpose, as far as the heat exchange through these components is possible, in that their high reflectivity for heat rays increases the thermal protection of the component significantly. Such construction elements provided with metal surfaces or foils, however, have the disadvantage that they are soaked through in winter by the effects of moisture occurring in the element and can therefore also suffer damage. It has now been recognized that these harmful effects are due to the presence of the metal surfaces or foils.
This is because the metal surfaces or foils are cooled down to or below the so-called dew point at low outside temperatures, with the result that the moisture that diffuses through the component with the heat flow from the inside to the outside, on the metal surface or foil condenses into liquid water or, if the dew point is below 00, into frost. As a result, however, on the one hand the component is moistened and on the other hand the reflectivity of the metal surface and thus also the thermal protection of the entire component is greatly reduced.
When the frost subsides, this precipitation will disappear again, but this alternating

by remedying that the metal surface, preferably aluminum foil, in order to protect it against impairment of its reflective effect by rainwater, lies in a zone of the component which is arranged in relation to the outside and inside of the component in such a way that the insulation value of the layer reaching from the outside to the foil is greater than the insulation value of the layer reaching from the inside to the foil, so that the foil cannot be cooled to or below the dew point.
In contrast to components with metal foils, in which the foils are located in the colder zone of the component in order to utilize the heat storage of the inner parts of the component, according to the invention the foils are laid in the warmer zone of the component inwards, so that the foils even when it is cold Winter weather cannot be cooled below the dew point and therefore no dew or Frost formation come about on it

side is smaller than the inside, i.e. the film is in the colder wall zone. It is intersected by the temperature curve X at -0-7 at the point and thus surely cooled below the dew point. So dew or frost will form on the aluminum foil.
Fig. 2 shows a building board with the same wall layers, but in a different order: a 17 mm inner wooden formwork 8, an aluminum foil 4 with double-sided air layers 5 of 33 mm each, two 10 mm wood fiber insulation panels 2 with a 10 mm air intermediate layer 3, roofing felt 6 and outer Wooden formwork 7. The insulation value of the layer reaching from the outside to the foil is thus greater than the insulation value of the layer reaching from the inside to the foil.
The film is now cut from the temperature curve at + 7-3 in the point. Now the dew points of a room air are + 20 'with a relative humidity of
