Bar, in particular for barrels
It is well known that for the serving of liquids such as beer and. Like. Dispensing pipes used from barrels when replacing an empty barrel with a full one and generally simply put aside when not in use. The inlet openings provided on the circumference of the shaft for the liquid to be dispensed can easily be contaminated and, if these dispensing openings are small, easily clogged. The invention avoids these inconveniences, u. zw. In that an elastically resiliently mounted protective sleeve is provided on the shank of the pipe, which at from

1 is the bottom of the barrel, in the tap hole 2 of which a bush 3 with an internal thread 4 and outlet openings 5 for the barrel contents is attached. In the tap hole bushing 3 sits a closure body 6 by means of a corresponding external thread, which closes the outlet openings 5 until the barrel is tapped. The actual dispensing device consists of a pipe, its head with 10 and its
Shaft is designated by 11. The parts 10, 11 form a toggle-like T-piece, so that the pipe can be handled like a hand drill when it is screwed into the mortise socket 3.
The shaft 11 is offset at its end in the manner of a pin and there has an external thread 12 which corresponds to the internal thread 4. 13 is a longitudinal bore running through the shaft 11 and closed at the front by an end wall 14, 15 are inlet openings which open into the longitudinal bore 13 behind the end wall and 16 is a square provided on the end wall which, as explained later, goes into a square hole 7 of the closure body 6 can be inserted. A sleeve 17 is slidably arranged on the cylindrical shaft 11 and is held in the position shown in FIG. 1 in an elastically flexible manner by a spring 18. In this
In this position, the sleeve 17 covers the inlet openings 15 and protects them against the ingress of foreign bodies, dirt or the like.
The collar 17 ′ located at the rear end of the sleeve 17 is supported on the angled edge 19 ′ of a protective tube 19 which surrounds the spring 18 and is attached to the head 10 of the pipe with the rear flanged edge. The head 10 is equipped with a bore 20 which intersects the longitudinal bore 13 at right angles and in which a rotary slide 21 is mounted, secured against displacement, the longitudinal bore 21 ′ of which leads to an outlet mouthpiece 22 provided at the slide end, while the other, head-like slide end 23 has a square 24 for attachment having an operating handle.
As long as the pipe is not screwed into the tap hole bushing 3, that is to say also in the transport state of the barrel, the closure body 6 assumes the position shown in FIG. 1. In this position the outlet openings 5 are covered by the closure body 6. The barrel contents can therefore

When the pipe is unscrewed from the mortise bushing 3, the closure body 6 is also screwed back until it has again reached the starting position shown in FIG. 1. The spring 18 relaxes and the protective sleeve 17 returns to the position which is delimited by the edge 19 ′ of the protective tube 19 and covers the inlet openings 15.
