X-ray diaphragm device with two or more adjustable individual diaphragms.
In the known X-ray diaphragm devices, in particular in those with two or more adjustable individual diaphragms each delimiting the X-ray beam, it is difficult to precisely determine the radiation field set in each case (on the patient). In order to enable this determination before the X-ray irradiation, it has already been proposed to attach a light source to the
EMI1.1
are and lie.
For spatial reasons, however, such a light source (along with the required mirrors) cannot be arranged in all X-ray diaphragm devices.
A marking of the field to be irradiated with x-rays can be achieved according to the invention in a relatively simple manner, even with limited space, by connecting light indicators or rod-shaped, possibly pull-out pointers to the adjustable parts of the individual apertures.
An embodiment of the new diaphragm device is shown in FIG. 1 in longitudinal section; 2 shows the field to be irradiated that is marked by light pointers.
The x-rays emanating from the x-ray tube focal point a are correspondingly limited by the individual diaphragms consisting of the diaphragm parts b, e, d, e. As a result, a useful beam cone is achieved, the cross-section 1 of which on the body to be examined is shown in FIG. From the light sources, which are adjustable together with the adjustable diaphragm parts, bundles of light rays h emanate, which are deflected by prisms i (or mirrors) such that the deflected bundles of rays k produce a marking m of the boundaries of the field.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. X-ray diaphragm device with two or more adjustable individual diaphragms delimiting each X-ray beam, characterized by pointers which are connected to the adjustable parts of the individual diaphragms.
