Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Dachziegel.
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   The bricks are advantageously provided on their lower edge with a bevel k inclined at an angle of 450 to the lower surface of the bricks. This has the effect that the wind that hits it slips away and the bricks cannot lift off.

   The roof tile according to the invention is not tied to any specific battens and the battens can also be laid at a greater distance from one another, since there is no need to fear penetration of rainwater through the joints.

   While 32 tiles per square meter have to be laid with the usual plain tile roofs in order to achieve a sufficient covering of the joints, 16 tiles per square meter are sufficient when using the training according to the invention, so that the roof is extremely light.

EMI2.1 PATENT CLAIM: Roof tile that is provided with a double fold on one long side and with a single fold on the other long side to connect the adjacent tiles, the fold of which engages in the inner groove of the double fold of the adjacent tile so that the outer groove the same or the like, which penetrates rainwater or the like, remains free, characterized in that all three rebate strips (e, f, g) which run over the entire length of the roof tile, which is designed as a flat strand interlocking tile (a) and lie with clearance in the rebate grooves, have their central axes overlapping are essentially at the same height above the tile undersurface, are made semicircular in order not to be bound to any specific battens and to compensate for any inaccuracies in the tile shape when laying the tile.
