Description

Process for the production of wall tiles, decorative panels and objects, stove tiles and the like. from Sorel cement.

The invention relates to a method for the production of wall tiles, decorative panels and objects, stove tiles and the like. Like. From Sorel cement, fillers and paint. Such methods are known in which the molding compound is deformed in highly polished glass molds or the like.

The known masses used water glass, ceresin, marble, quartz or wood flour as fillers for Sorel cement, to which masses, for example, starch was then added. The known masses of this type have not proven themselves, however, and it has been found that the addition of casein makes the molding material very pliable, gives it a high water-repellent property as well as particularly good adhesion to surfaces made of wood, stone or the like. The addition of casein also prevents the driving force of the iron chloride, which is contained in Sorel cement, thereby also preventing the formation of brown spots in the mass, so that in particular white plates, tiles or the like appear pure white.

According to the invention, the mass advantageously consists of a mixture of 1: 2.1: 3, optionally 1: 4, and the like. Between 1 part of magnesite and 2, 3 or 4 parts of marble, quartz flour or the like, to which any dye can be added. This mixture is mixed dry and then mixed with a chlorine magnesium solution of 28-300 Be to a thick paste. Afterwards, an addition of casein in a dissolved state, about 5 g to Y2 kg of the aforementioned pulp, is added to this mixture and the mixture is stirred evenly. The mass stirred off in this way is then introduced into the highly polished glass mold or the like and pierced by means of a glass rod or the like so that the air bubbles located therein can escape.

The mass is then left to dry in the molds and shows a highly polished surface that does not require any mechanical finishing. The mass can be used for any purpose, in particular for the production of wall tiles, decorative panels and objects, stove tiles and the like. Like. Be used.
