Control flap for secondary air inlets.
The subject of the present invention is a device which is able to automatically regulate the draft for chimneys of all types. Several devices are already known which regulate the draft. However, these are usually built directly into the chimney's air duct or have their weights attached to the open to adjust the draft. These devices have the disadvantage that the rising smoke causes soot to stick to the same or to the weights, thereby changing the original weight, which has a very unfavorable effect on the action of the draft regulator.
This disadvantage is eliminated by the present invention, u. between the fact that the adjustable from the outside are built into a double-walled rotary flap and thus protected from external influences such as soot or soiling. The air supply regulates itself automatically depending on the strength of the existing chimney draft and is only adjusted once to the necessary draft.
According to the invention, the weights are attached inside the double-walled rotary flap, whereby the weights are protected from sooting and soiling.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the tension regulator, Fig. 2 shows a front view of the same.
The wall sleeve b is built into the wall of the chimney. The ring c, which has a bend d in which the axis e of the rotary flap is mounted, is pushed onto the same. In the upper half, the ring c is again crimped inwards so that the double-walled rotary flap rests against this crimp u in the closed state and thus closes tightly. The axis e

which, when the flap is closed, lies against the ring c and thereby also the lower one
Half of the entire device closes tightly. The device is supported by the axis e, and it is attached on one side near the inner Deekel base r.
This rotates the
Device in the direction of the arrow s in the dash-dotted line as soon as an excessive draft occurs in the chimney, and thereby allows freezing air to flow into the chimney, which renders this harmful coating harmless. This amount of fresh air is regulated by the weight lever h. The more they are turned towards the horizontal center, the greater the flap deflection in the direction of the arrow s and the greater the amount of fresh air that can enter the chimney.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Control flap for secondary air inlets, characterized in that one or more weight levers (h), which, depending on their setting, ensure easier or more difficult opening of the rotary flap, inside a double-walled rotary flap between the outer Deekelboden (o) and the inner lid base (r) are attached.
