   Durch die den Anstreichfarben zugesetzten Stoffe, das sind Firnis, Kasein, Ochsengalle u. dgl., wird die Pechfassung der Borsten von   Streichbürsten   und Malerseheiben bald zermürbt, so dass die Borsten in kurzer Zeit aus der Fassung herausfallen. Das Verfahren nach der Erfindung bezweckt,   Streichbürsten

 und Pechfassungen nunmehr aufzubringenden Mineralfarbe. Die Farbe, z. B. Zinkgrau, Zinkgrün, Minium, wird dem ersten Bad in solcher Menge zugesetzt, dass sie deckt. In diesem Farbbad werden nun die vorgebadeten Stücke eine Minute lang gebadet. Sodann werden sie neuerdings in Zugluft getrocknet. 



  Beim Trocknen bindet sich die Mineralfarbe mit dem Wasserglas derart fest ab, dass sieh auf den Holzkörpern und den   Pechfassungen   ein unlöslicher, farbiger, steinartiger Niederschlag bildet, der die Holzkörper und die Pechfassungen wasserfest und gegen die Farben unempfindlich macht.
