Die nachträgliche Arbeit wird nach Bedarf mit flachen Stahlstiften und Zedernholz ausgeführt (ausgewischt). Danach wird die Platte mit der noch übrigen daran festhaftenden Farbe getrocknet. Sodann wird das Bild auf die übliche Art ausgeführt, oder es werden die Farbe bzw. die Farben erneut vermittels Tamponierens aufgetragen und in der obenerwähnten Weise durch Auswischen behandelt.
