   Eine nach dem Verfahren zustande gekommen in Kunstseide gearbeitete Kettenwirkware zeichnet sich gegenüber den bekannten kunstseidenen Rippenwaren dadurch aus, dass sie durch das Waschen ihre   Elastizität"nicht   verliert. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer quergerippten Kettenwirkware auf einer einnadelreihigen Kettenwirkmaschine mittels zweier Legemaschine, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mittels der oberen Legemaschine eine Grundware (beispielsweise in Form einer einfachen Trikotlegung unter 1 über 1 und zurück) gelegt wird, während die untere Legemaschine zum Zwecke der Rippenbildung Unterlegungen (beispielsweise unter 2 und zurück) tätigt, derart, dass die untere Legemaschine bei diesen Unterlegungen abwechselnd einmal in der gleichen Richtung wie die obere Legemaschine und das andere Mal in entgegengesetzter Richtung zur oberen Legemaschine versetzt wird.
