Description

Process for the production of a ribbed warp knitted fabric on a single-needle warp knitting machine The purpose of the main patent is to work on a single-needle Warp knitting machine to produce a cross-ribbed fabric that goes in the direction of its wales possesses such a great elasticity as is otherwise only found in double-needle rows Machines produced ribs in the direction of the courses.

The present invention is now that the knitting needles between the thread group of the upper laying machine laying the base fabric and the Thread group of the lower laying machine, which is used to create ribs underlay A rubber thread is fed in at one or more points without a lateral offset will.

This measure makes the warp knitted fabric according to the main patent interspersed in their longitudinal direction with rubber warp threads, which accordingly cross the ribs, because these run across the goods. If one takes into account that the warp knitted fabric expresses its elasticity in its longitudinal direction according to the main patent, it follows that that the rubber warp threads support the tensile effect of the ribs. The rubber warp threads run between the threads of the basic fabric connecting the stitches and the underlay that wraps around these connecting threads for the purpose of rib formation acting threads. This .has the consequence that the rubber warp threads in the places where the threads of the lower laying machine in their underlays in the same direction are offset like the threads of the upper laying machine, on each connecting thread the stitches of the basic goods are tied in such a reliable way, that a return of the rubber threads is simply impossible.

It has already become known to use rubber warp threads in warp knitted fabrics work in so that they run on the mesh heads and from the mesh knees be overextended. This is how the rubber warp threads are held. Completely however, this way of fixing the rubber warp threads is not because the latter in this execution not be tied down in the sense of the word, which alone the protection against backflow results. In another design, the rubber warp threads from the knees of two warp threads laid in opposite directions Overlapping basic goods, whereby the rubber warp threads are fixed in a reliable manner will; In this version, however, it is a precondition that the basic goods consist of two there is warp thread groups laid in the opposite direction. With the present Invention, on the other hand, consists of the actual basic product only from one The thread group and the tying of the rubber warp threads take care of the formation of the ribs causative threads of the lower laying machine with.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown. Fig. I shows a stitch pattern, with only one for the sake of clarity Thread of the lower thread group is shown, and the working parts go from Fig.2 to achieve the desired product.

The upper laying machine 5 lays the basic fabric with its threads i, and the lower laying machine 6 operates with its threads 2 for the purpose of rib formation Underlays. In one or more places, a between the upper and the lower laying machine 5, 6 lying laying needle 7 the needles g the A rubber thread 8 is supplied to the warp knitting machine without a lateral offset. This elastic thread 8 accordingly gets into the goods between thread group i and thread group 2, so that it runs in the processing state between the threads i and 2 through the goods (Fig.i). Specifically in the areas of the goods where the upper spreading machine is located Has moved threads i in the same lateral direction as the lower laying machine 6 their threads 2, the elastic thread 8 is then reliably mutually of each other the threads of these two thread groups held, so that a backward running of the Rubber threads 8 is simply impossible in use.
