Maschinen in ihren Gehäusen.

Device and method for fastening and centering sheet metal stator bodies
Machines in their housings.
It is known to store and fasten the stator sheets of electrical machines in a housing made of sheet metal or cast iron such that the sheets are pressed together after being layered in the housing and under pressure by using snap rings or clips, and also by screwing, riveting or welding to the Housing are connected.
It is also known to Ulll cast the pre-pressed laminated stator body with liquid light metal, so that after solidification, the encapsulated housing jacket surrounds the laminated stator body and holds it together. This economical method requires correspondingly large molds to be used and requires compliance with a certain internal diameter, especially if the
EMI1.1
To give cooling air the opportunity to brush over the back of the laminated stator, the encapsulated housing must release the back of the stator in places. This results in a correspondingly enlarged diameter of the housing jacket, and subsequently also of the bearing shields, and finally an increase in the weight of the machine.
The subject of the present invention is a method of fastening the laminated stator body (S) in the housing shell (M) in such a way that brackets (K) made of light metal are cast in the space between the stator sheet metal back and the inner bore of the housing shell at individual points using simple insert forms. The housing jacket is provided with recesses at the points where a clamp is seated, into which the liquid metal flows and, after solidification, creates a kind of riveted connection between the clamp and the housing jacket. After the staple metal has solidified, the insert forms are removed and the sheet metal stator body appears to be fixed and centered in the housing.
By using a housing jacket, e.g. B. made of sheet metal, and the arrangement of the lowest possible brackets, the air gap for the cooling air between the stator back and the housing inner bore can be kept very small. This means that the machine diameter and the end shield diameter are very small and, as a result, the overall weight of the machine is reduced considerably.
