According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the original is triggered without interrupting the transfer and without stopping the drum by actuating a control member and the

while a feed table of the drum is approached by the same control element and the new original is detected and clamped by the fastening device arranged on the drum.
According to the invention, when the new original is inserted, the feed table which is approaching the drum is gripped by driver devices arranged on the drum, a certain part of the drum rotation is carried along and then brought into the starting position after the original has been attached and after the driver device has been automatically disengaged. In order to facilitate the gripping of the original by the fastening device arranged on the drum, this is

depressed by means of a suitable device.
Furthermore, an exact and wrinkle-free clamping of the original on the drum according to the invention is achieved in that the original, gripped by the fastening device, is pressed down by resilient means on the feed table during the return of the feed table, so that it leaves this under tension.
The invention also relates to various devices that are used to carry out the

because it is attached to the lever 5. The table 1 is now brought closer to the drum 4 by the spring 14.
In the meantime, the drum 4 has continued to rotate in such a way that the stop pins 15 grip the driver lugs 16 of the table 1. The table 1 is now pulled along in the direction of rotation of the drum 4 until the gripper is now open. M after the lever 9 slides off the cam 8, it closes again through the action of the springs 18 and thus clamps or holds the supplied original so that the lever 5 now returns to its initial position and the impression can proceed. By means of the spring 17, the table 1 is pulled back into its initial position up to a stop.
With the invention, the machine does not need to be shut down in order to introduce a new original, but this can be unclamped and clamped in during operation, which saves a lot of time.
A secure, fold-free clamping of the new original on the drum 4 is made possible as follows.
By pressing on the lever 20 attached to the axis 19, the springs, Z and 21 are raised to the passage of the original 3, the outlines of which are drawn in broken lines. Is the original right on

the springs 2 attached to the axis 19 are pressed down onto the original. The springs' have the task of holding the original in such a way that it cannot be displaced by vibrations from the machine in operation, as well as keeping the original somewhat taut when it is pulled off the swinging table by the gripper 10 of the printing drum 4, which means that Original is applied smoothly to the printing drum.
The straightening springs 21 are bent in such a way that they push the edge of the original projecting beyond the Sehwingtiseh down a little, so that it is absolutely reliably gripped by the gripper.
By further rotation of the drum 4, the counter-pressure roller 24, which rests in resilient sliding bearings, is pressed off the drum 4 by the cams 25 attached to the drum 4, so that a gap is created between the printing drum 4 and the counter-pressure roller 24. At the same time, the eccentric 26, which is mounted on the journal of the drum 4, has moved the feeder linkage: Z1 in such a way that the free-running roller 28 pushed a sheet from the stack 29 between the printing drum 4 and the counter-pressure roller 24, the stop pins 30 being pushed too far of the sheet.
When the drum continues to rotate, the counter-pressure roller 24 rests firmly against the original 3 clamped on the drum 4, and the finished imprint is then placed on the table 31 with further rotation. Here, too, the essential thing is that the machine is not stopped, but that any number of prints can be made continuously.
