Spritzdeckenverschluss für Paddelboote.
Die Spritzdecken bei Paddelbooten, insbesondere bei Faltbooten, bestehen aus einem horizontal über den Waschbord gespannten Teil und einem auf diesen aufgenähten Kamin, welcher um den Körper des Paddlers liegt und am oberen Teil mit einem Gummizug versehen ist. Bisher wurden die Spritzdeeken im Bereich der Sitzöffnungen geteilt und der Kamin mit zwei rechts und links angeordneten Verschlüssen abgeschlossen. Es entstanden daher zwei undichte Stellen gerade dort, wo ein Teil des überkommenden
Wassers direkt hintrifft und abfliessen soll. Durch die notwendige windschief Anbringung der Ver- schlüsse öffnen sich diese schwer, was besonders beim Kentern von Nachteil ist.
Die Erfindung hat den Zweck, eine leichte Anbringung und Lösung der Spritzdecken zu ermög- lichen und gleichzeitig einen nahezu restlos dichten Abschluss zu erzielen.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dar- gestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt eine Draufsicht auf ein Boot mit Spritzdecke, Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch den
Kamin nach der Linie a-b der Fig. 1 im vergrösserten Massstab, Fig. 3 einen Horizontalschnitt durch den Verschluss an der Rückwand des Kamins in geöffneter Stellung und Fig. 4 den Anschluss der zweiten
Spritzdeeke bei einem zweisitzigen Boot.
Der aus einem Stück gebogene Beschlagteils (Fig. 3) ist auf einem Streifen Stoff oder Gummihaut 2 montiert. Der an seinem unteren Ende versteifte Teil 2 wird an einem Bootsbestandteil, beispielsweise an der rückwärtigen Waschbordabsehlussleiste oder am Spant, fest oder lösbar angebracht. Die Gegen- stücke 3 und 3'des Beschlages sind an den Enden des Kaminstreifens 4 angenietet und werden in der
Richtung ihrer Längsachse in die Nuten des Teiles 1 eingeschoben. Öffnet der Paddler die Spritzdecke, so hebt er sie (beim Kentern durch sein Herausfallen), wodurch sich die Teile 3 und 3'aus 1 herausschieben.
Im selben Augenblick, wo die Teile ausser Eingriff kommen, ist der Kamin nach hinten offen und der Paddler kann ungehindert das Boot verlassen. Da der vordere Teil eines mehrsitzigen Bootes bis knapp hinter die Rückenlehne des vorderen Insassen reicht, wird der rückwärts anschliessende Teil 6 in einer Schnurnut der Querleiste 7, welche hinter dem Kamin des Teiles 5 beiderseits am Waschbord befestigt wird, eingezogen und verhält sich alsdann so wie der Teil 5. Die Leiste 7 enthält ausser dieser Nut zum Anschluss vom Teil 6 auch die Nut für den Abschluss des Teiles 5 (Fig. 4), gegebenenfalls auch die Befestigung für den Teil 2. Es kann aber auch die Rückenlehne mit ihr vereinigt werden.
Der Verschluss 1. 2,3 und 3' kann in der Mitte, aber auch rechts oder links neben der Rückenlehne angeordnet werden, jedenfalls aber an der Rückwand des Kamins. Da der an sich fast vollständig schliessende Beschlag an der Stelle angeordnet ist, wo das überkommende Wasser am wenigsten hingelangt, kann die Einrichtung gemäss der Erfindung als praktisch vollkommen wasserdicht bezeichnet werden.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Spritzdeckenverschluss für Paddelboote, insbesondere für Faltboote, mit fest angesetztem Kamin, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kamin nur an seiner Rückseite geteilt und an den Teilungsrändern mit Beschlägen versehen ist, die in am Boot oder an einem Bootsbestandteil befestigte Beschläge eingreifen.
