The extractor hood for stoves according to the invention, like the hoods already known in this field, is used to capture the vapors produced by cooking and to pass them on to the fireplace in order to protect the surroundings of the heat generator, walls, ceilings, etc. from the harmful effects of cooking fumes. The extractor hood according to the invention is distinguished from the known designs of this type by an advantageous configuration.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows an axial section through the device and FIG. 2 shows a section along A-B of FIG.
The device according to the invention, like most devices of this type, initially exists

are inclined so that the liquid is avoided as much as possible. A line 2 is arranged downwards along the funnel wall and then a discharge pipe 5 is arranged upwards after the chimney, a liquid separation chamber 6 being switched on at the point where the direction of the line changes. As a result of the draft in the chimney, the vapor will reach the flap valve through the duct 2 along the tongue 3.
The flap valve, in contrast to the flap valves that are otherwise common in such facilities, is arranged in such a way that, on the one hand, it opens the way into the chimney

open automatically so far that you can see their lower part 12 on the tongue 3, which is between the line 2 and the
Chamber 6 is arranged, in order to avoid excessive penetration of vapor into the chamber 6 and after the pipe 8. Should a counter-pull occur, the flap 4 will automatically close the opening between the lines 2 and 5 by its part 11. The small channels 7 located at the bottom of the valve body allow the liquid produced in the valve housing to flow off to the chamber 6.
The condensation of the channel 2 and that of the chamber 6 flows into the channel 9 which is attached to the underside of the device and runs around the entire edge of the device, which at the same time picks up any drops of liquid that may slide off the inner walls of the hood and empties them via a conventional tap 10.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Extractor hood for stoves, in which the haze is discharged from the top of the funnel-shaped housing into a flue pipe provided with a closing element after the chimney, characterized in that the haze through a channel (2) along the funnel wall first downwards and then through the exhaust pipe (5) is directed upwards, a liquid separation chamber (6) being switched on at the point of change of direction, from which a pipe (8) leads to the groove (9) running along the lower edge of the hood, from which the condensed liquid is drained off via a tap (().
