EMI1.1
The invention relates to a hair drying device which consists of a hood made of tubes which are connected to a hot air supply chamber and are provided with inwardly directed holes for the hot air stream to exit. In the known hoods of this type, the tubes are rigidly connected to the chamber and to one another. This makes it difficult to accommodate the hairstyle in the desired way under the hood and watch it there while it is drying. In addition, it is tiring to keep your head under such a rigid hood for a long time. According to the invention, these disadvantages are eliminated in that annular tubes are pivotably arranged on the common air supply chamber.
The individual ring tubes can be swiveled up and then folded down one after the other over the hairstyle so that the hair can be gradually arranged under the hood. The individual ring tubes are fixed in an inclined position above the head. By swiveling up the lowest ring tube, excessive heating of the forehead can be avoided.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows it in vertical section and Fig. 2 in plan.
The drying device consists of the air distribution chamber a and the ring-shaped tubes b, which are rotatably mounted with the ends cl in holes M of the chamber a so that they can be pivoted into the positions e. In the operational state of the device, the uppermost tube b lies in a hook e attached to the chamber a, the others hold each other by chains or straps f or rest on stops g attached to the chamber a. At the lower part of the chamber a, shorter tubes A for drying the hair on the neck are arranged on both sides. The hot air is fed to the chamber a through a pipe i, with which the device is rotatably mounted on a stand k.
In order to regulate the air flow, throttle valves are arranged in the pipe i and in the chamber a.
