Verfahren zur Darstellung von Abkömmlingen des Naphthazarins.
Im Stammpatent Nr. 120402 ist beschrieben, dass man durch Umsetzung der wässerigen, blauen
Lösungen der Naphthazarinzwischenprodukte, die nach den Verfahren der deutschen Patentschriften
Nr. 76922,79406, 108551, 114264 oder 134705 erhalten werden, mit Aldehyden wertvolle als Pigment- farbstoffe verwendbare Kondensationsprodukte erhält.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man zu den gleichen oder ähnlichen Kondensationsprodukten gelangt, wenn man die nach den Verfahren der genannten Patentschriften in Sehwefelsäurelösung erzeugten
Naphthazarinzwischenprodukte direkt in der Schwefelsäurelösung mit Aldehyden kondensiert und die so erhaltene Lösung der Kondensationsprodukte in Schwefelsäure gegebenenfalls nach der Filtration in Wasser giesst. Hiebei scheiden sich die gewünschten Kondensationsprodukte aus.
Beispiel : 8 kg 1. 5- Dinitronaphthalin werden in Gegenwart von 100 konzentrierter Schwefelsäure gemäss dem Verfahren der oben erwähnten deutschen Patente mit Schwefel behandelt. Die so erhaltene
Lösung wird über eine Steinnutsche filtriert, mit festem Paraformaldehyd verrührt, bis die rotbraune
Lösung tief korblumenblau geworden ist und nochmals 24 Stunden verrührt wird. Dann wird in Wasser gegeben, aufgekocht, abfiltriert und ausgewaschen. Man erhält ein schwarzes Pigment, welches sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure rotbraun löst.
