    Doppelwandige Abwascheinrichtnng.

B. in Betracht : Naphthalin, Bienenwaehs, Erdwachs, Paraffin, Stearin.

    Double-walled washing-up device.

The well-known wooden washing-up sheep has the advantage that hot water poured into it keeps its temperature much longer than in modern metal washing-up devices. But the latter is again much easier to keep clean and tight. The purpose of the present invention is to make an arrangement on the known washing-up device which on the one hand restricts the dissipation of heat to the outside and on the other hand creates a heat accumulator which is capable of supplying heat to the cooling wash water. As can be seen from the drawing, this dishwasher is double-walled.

The space P located between the outer and inner wall is filled with a body whose melting point is between 30 and 100 ° C. and whose heat of fusion is more than 20 calories. Such substances come e.g. B. possible: naphthalene, beeswash, earth wax, paraffin, stearin.

Let us assume that the space P between the outer and inner walls is fixed
 EMI1.1
Paraffin will melt and store around 35 calories per kilogram. The temperature of the water will be reduced rapidly to the temperature required for washing by the withdrawal of the heat of fusion. The objects that are now immersed in the wash-up process continuously remove heat from the water. However, if the water temperature falls below the melting point of the filling compound, the paraffin begins to solidify and gives off a large part of its solidification heat to the water. so that this remains usable for much longer. The paraffin also serves as an insulator between water and room air.

In the already known double-walled washing-up devices, the partition walls are only filled with an insulating compound, which is intended to prevent the hot water from cooling down for as long as possible.
