Contact plug with slotted, spring-loaded clamping sleeve.
The invention relates to contact plugs with a slotted, resilient clamping sleeve for the connecting wire. whose free end is pressed together with the help of a screw-on cap with an inner cone, and consists in that the channel of the clamping sleeve is graduated in diameter so that the bare end of the connecting wire and its insulated part can be clamped at the same time.
In the drawing, the contact teaker is illustrated, for example, u. Between FIG. 1 shows the same with the closure cap unscrewed, enlarged in a partially sectioned view, and FIG.
The plug end for insertion into the socket consists in a known manner of four leaf springs 1, which in pairs form a piece and are attached with their web 2 to the end of a bolt.
The free ends of the leaf spring are stuck with clearance in the bore of an insulating piece 4, which sits on the bolt 3. On the thread-bearing part 3 'of the bolt 3 is screwed a clamping sleeve 6, resilient by means of longitudinal braids 5, the channel 7 of which is drilled according to the invention in such a way that a further 8 and a narrower part 9 are created. Approximately at the transition point from the further into the narrower part of the channel 7, the clamping sleeve has a conical neck 10 and is inserted up to this into an insulating sleeve 11, which extends to the insulating piece 4 and is held in place by the clamping sleeve 6. The end of the clamping sleeve 6 protruding from the insulating sleeve 11 is tapered on the outside.
When attaching the contact plug to the lead wire, the core of the same exposed by the insulation is inserted into the narrower duct part @ 9, while the outer duct part 8 engages around the insulated part of the wire. When holding the sleeve 11 and turning it on the insulating piece 4, the cone 10 pushed into the conical opening of the sleeve 11 presses the sleeve 6 together. whereby the wire core is additionally clamped. To clamp the wire insulation. an internally threaded cap 12 made of insulating material is provided in a known manner, the threaded bore of which merges into a conical bore 13.
The cap 1: is screwed onto the thread-bearing end 14 of the insulating sleeve 11. while the free end of the clamping sleeve 6 ′ is pressed together and that located in the channel 8
