Schutzvorriclltlmg für Weinstöcke u. dgl.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf jene bekannten Schutzvorrichtungen für Weinstöcke oder sonstige kälteempfindliche, am Pfahl rankende Pflanzen, die bisher aus einer oben offenen Schutzhülle von der Form eines schiefen Kegels bestehen. Erfindungsgemäss ist nun die kürzeste Erzeugende des Kegels zu seiner Basis senkrecht gerichtet. Dadurch wird der Vorteil erreicht, dass der Raum innerhalb des Kegels möglichst ausgenutzt wird. Ausserdem ist seine Herstellung infolge seiner kleineren erforderlichen Mantelfläche billiger und bedingt einen geringeren Abfall bei Verwendung der im Handel erhältlichen Platten aus Pappe od. dgl.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt, und zeigt Fig. 1 die Seitenansicht und Fig. 2 die Draufsicht.
Die Schutzvorrichtung besteht aus einer zweckmässig aus Pappe hergestellten Hülle 1 in Gestalt eines schiefen Kegels. Der untere Randstreifen des Kegels ist aussen mit einem Teeranstrich 2 versehen und trägt Ventilationslöcher 7. Der schiefe Kegel wird über die Weinrebe 6 gestülpt und auf den Boden so aufgesetzt, dass der Rebenpfahl 4 an der kürzesten, senkrecht zur Basis gerichteten Erzeugenden des Kegels anliegt. Die Kegelspitze fehlt, so dass ein Loch 3 entsteht, durch welches der Pfahl 4, der im Boden steckt, hindurchragt. Der Pfahl 4 liegt neben der kürzesten Erzeugenden oder an, dieser an und der übrige, gegen die längste Erzeugende des Kegels hin reichende Raum wird von der Rebe 6 ausgefüllt, im Gegensatz zu den bekannten schiefkegeligen Weintebenschützern, bei denen ein Teil des Innenraumes unausgenutzt bleibt.
Ein besonderes Loch in der Kegelwand für den Pfahl entfällt und wird die Öffnung an der Kegelspitze hiezu herangezogen. Bei den üblichen Schützern hingegen muss die Hülle mit dem Pfahl verbunden werden, um dem Winddruck standzuhalten.

The present invention relates to those known protective devices for vines or other cold-sensitive plants climbing on the stake, which previously consisted of a protective cover open at the top in the shape of an oblique cone. According to the invention, the shortest generating line of the cone is now directed perpendicular to its base. This has the advantage that the space within the cone is used as much as possible. In addition, its production is cheaper due to its smaller required surface area and requires less waste when using the commercially available sheets of cardboard or the like.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, and FIG. 1 shows the side view and FIG. 2 shows the top view.
The protective device consists of an envelope 1 suitably made of cardboard in the shape of an oblique cone. The lower edge of the cone is provided with a tar paint 2 on the outside and has ventilation holes 7. The inclined cone is placed over the vine 6 and placed on the ground so that the vine pile 4 rests against the shortest generatrix of the cone, which is perpendicular to the base. The point of the cone is missing, so that a hole 3 is created through which the post 4, which is stuck in the ground, protrudes.
