Aschenbecher.
Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Aschenbecher, bei welchem Rauchentwicklung dadurch vermieden wird, dass rings um die Einwurfsöffnung ein Ringraum vorgesehen ist, in welchem sich der von den eingeworfenen, durch konische Ausbildung des Behälterbodens zwangläufig unter diesen Ringraum beförderten Zigarren-bzw. Zigarettenresten aufsteigende Rauch sammelt.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in beispielsweiser Ausführung in Fig. 1 im Vertikalschnitt und in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht veranschaulicht.
Der vollständig geschlossene, aus zwei kappenartigen Teilen a und b zusammengesetzte Behälter weist an seiner oberen, trichterförmig eingezogenen Abdeckung eine Einwurföffnung auf, die durch einen rohrförmigen Ansatz c in das Innere des Behälters führt. Auf diese Art entsteht um das Rohr c ein ringförmiger Sackraum, der einerseits von der Aussenwandung des Rohres c, anderseits von der Innenwandung des Behälterteiles a begrenzt ist.
Der Bodenteil b bildet gegenüber dem Einwurfrohr c einen Abfallkonus b', durch welchen das eingeworfene Rauchgut gezwungen wird, sich möglichst an der Wand des Behälterbodens, also an einer Stelle des Behälters zu sammeln, der unter dem um das Rohr c befindlichen Ringraum liegt. Der sich aus den Stummeln entwickelnde, naturgemäss lotrecht aufsteigende Rauch sammelt sich mithin in dem Ringraum und ist nicht in der Lage, durch das Rohr c auszutreten. Die Grösse des Ringraumes ist derart bemessen, dass sich der angesammelte Rauch zuverlässig abkühlt und niederschlägt.
Die Mulden a1 dienen zum Auflegen des Rauchgutes.

The smoke that naturally rises vertically from the stumps collects in the annular space and is not able to exit through the pipe c. The size of the annulus is dimensioned in such a way that the accumulated smoke is reliably cooled and precipitated.
The troughs a1 are used to place the smoke.
