Die bekannten Metalltücher, z. B. die in der Papierfabrikation in der Langsiebpapiermaschine verwendeten Metallischer bzw.-Siebe sind in der Regel aus feinem Metalldraht, zumeist Messingdraht, hergestellte Gewebe. Auch die in der Textilindustrie häufig verwendeten Zufuhrtücher sind Metalldrahtgewebe. Diese bekannten Metallischer haben den Übelstand, dass sie an den Rändern leicht einreissen und ausgefranst werden. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Metalltuch, bei welchem die Kettenfäden an einem oder beiden Rändern des Tuches durch ein oder mehrere nicht rostende Stahl-od. dgl.
Drähte hoher Widerstandsfähigkeit gebildet sind, die zweckmässig gleiche Stärke, wie die übrigen Kettendrähte des Tuches haben. Ein solches Metalltueh setzt dem Einreissen bzw. Ausfransen grossen Widerstand entgegen, so dass die Erfindung ein Mittel bietet, um das Ausfransen der Metalltücher zu verhindern und die Verwendungsdauer der Metalltüeher zu verlängern.
Gegebenenfalls können solche Drähte höherer Widerstandsfähigkeit auch an einer oder mehreren anderen Stellen des Tuches parallel zu den Rändern eingewebt werden, wodurch das Tuch im ganzen widerstandsfähiger gemacht wird und gegen Dehnung, Durchhängen u. dgl. gesichert werden kann.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Metalltuch, insbesondere für Papiermaschinen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kettendrähte an den Rändern des Tuches aus nicht rostenden Drähten von grösserer Widerstandsfähigkeit und vorzugsweise von gleicher Stärke wie die übrigen Kettendrähte bestehen.
