  Schmierverfahren.

  Lubrication method.

The present invention relates to a lubrication process which consists in dispersing smoothing substances in a dispersant (varnish) which forms a film when it dries out onto the surfaces to be lubricated before use and allowing it to dry there.

This lubricant to be applied in this way consists of friction-reducing highly dispersed substances, such as talc, graphite, etc., in more or less quick-drying and film-forming solutions, as seen by the various thin-bodied paints, varnishes, wood oil, cellulose esters and - ethers, resin - and synthetic resin solutions are suitable. In such systems, the actual lubricant after drying and film formation represents the main part and is rigidly connected by the dispersant, which forms only a small mass of intermicellar substance, and is held by this on the base. The technical progress of this lubrication process can be seen in the fact that the lubricating element, e.g.

   B. the graphite, according to the invention is rigidly and immovably connected to the parts to be lubricated by the dispersant solidified to form a film. Since the bodies to be smoothed are often iron construction elements, a rust-preventing effect of the lubricant is also very desirable; it can therefore also still rust-resistant substances such. B. metal oxides are added.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Lubricating method, characterized in that a dispersion of smoothing substances in a dispersant (lacquer) which forms a film when it dries out is applied to the surfaces to be lubricated before the start-up and left to dry there.
