Description

Method for drying reproductions, for welehe bold or. Oil-varnished colors have been used. Inks that are used in general printing and reproduction technology contain fat additives, namely oils, varnishes or the like. Depending on the process, more or less such fats are added to the colors. The fat-containing colors naturally impair the drying of the reproductions, which for various reasons can be described as disadvantageous.

In the case of multi-color printing, for example, it is a condition that the previously applied color must have reached a certain level of dryness.

So-called desiccants are known that can be mixed with the colors. However, these agents cannot be described as fully to because such methods have the disadvantages, for example, that the inks are also exposed to rapid drying on the applicator rollers. Recently, a method has also been used for drying according to which molten paraffin or the like is applied to the reproduction. Another known means is that the prints are dusted with talc, bronze or the like.

However, these dust structures only adhere to the surface of the applied paint, without the paint drying as a razor. They only serve to ensure that reproductions that are placed on top of one another do not adhere to one another.

The present invention is a method for drying reproductions for which fett- BEZW. Oil-based colors are used, according to which the solution of a cellulose derivative is applied to the reproduction.

Zaponlach, for example, can be used as cellulose varnish. It can be applied to the reproduction manually or mechanically, or it can be immersed in the lacquer solution. After the lacquer has been applied to the reproductions, heat can be used to dry it.
