   In der Zeichnung ist eine Isolationsschnur nach der Erfindung in zwei Ausführungsbeispielen dargestellt. 



   Fig. 1 und 3 zeigen die Schnur im Querschnitt mit   durchnähtem     hzw. nicht durchnähtem Glas-   gespinst. Fig. 2 und 4 zeigen ihre Draufsicht. 



   In jeder Darstellung der Isolationsschnur ist das Glasgespinst mit a, die Hülle mit b und der Nähfaden mit c bezeichnet. Das Glasgespinstgebilde kann   durchnäht   (Fig. 1) oder nicht   durchnäht   (Fig. 3) werden. Die Hülle b entsteht durch schraubengangartiges Umwickeln eines Streifens aus Papier oder einem andern Stoff um das Glasgespinstgebilde, so dass die Kanten des schraubengangartig   umgelegten   Bandes sich überdecken, um so beim Umwickeln des Isolationsgebildes, beispielsweise um ein Rohr, gegenseitig nachgeben zu können, so dass ein faltenloses Umlegen des Gebildes um den zu isolierenden Gegen-
