Osterreichische PATENTSCHRIFT 11364.

Osterreichische PATENTSCHRIFT 11364. Extension plates for the production of patterns.

There are mounting plates for the production of patterns are known in which the individual parts of the same by joints or the like. Rotatable, but were firmly connected to each other. This connection is very cumbersome, makes it difficult in many cases to use the anchor plates and in some cases makes use of the same
 EMI1.1
to allow with the extension plates.

The pattern plates are shown in Fig. 1, broken down into their individual parts, in a view. Fig. 2 shows how the parts are used together. 3, 4 and 5 illustrate the application of the parts to the human body.

The present pattern plates a and b are like the previously known ones. applied to the body so that the basic model can immediately be applied in its natural size.
 EMI1.2
Part of the front half serves, the 1'lattf1b is intended to determine the point of the chest and neck perforation. According to the invention, the individual plates are not used connected to one another as before, but can be moved on the body completely independently of one another. The plate a is accordingly attached to the vest, shirt or the like of the person to be measured by means of hooks attached to its ends, this plate a having to lie completely smoothly on the body.

To the plate a, b)?. w. on the vest, the plate b is then attached in the manner shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, likewise by means of very fine hooks, in such a way that this plate also lies completely smoothly on the body. The individual center and boundary lines are now marked on these plates, and the required dimensions are also designated. After being removed from the body, the two cutting pattern plates are spread out in the plane as shown in FIG. 2 and the cutting pattern is then completed using the mass obtained when the plates were placed on the body.
