   Die neue   Überwendlichnaht   (Perlnaht), welche vorzugsweise für Knopflochkanten bestimmt ist, besteht aus   drei Fäden a b c,   von welchen die beiden Fäden a und b durch zwei Nadeln und der dritte Faden c durch einen Schlingenbilder entlang einer'Stoffkante miteinander verschlungen werden. Der eine Faden a wird neben der Stoffkante durch den Stoff gezogen und bildet auf beiden Seiten des Stoffes Schleifen oder Schlingen. Er wird im nachstehenden als Stoffstich-Schlingenfaden bezeichnet. Der zweite Faden b verläuft entlang der Stoffkant. o und wird im nachstehenden als Stoffkanten-Schlingenfaden bezeichnet. Der dritte Faden c bildet für die Verschlingungen der Schlingen der beiden vorgenannten Fäden entlang der Stoffkante einen   Verriegel- oder Bindefaden.   



     Die     beiden Tadeln für   die Fäden a und b sind so angeordnet, dass sie nebeneinander und zwar während jeder Umdrehung der Maschinenantriebwelle sich einmal auf-und
