Halter für Speisekarten od. dgl.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Halter für Speisekarten o. dgl., der es ermöglicht, die Karte zugleich als Serviettenschutzblatt und gegebenenfalls auch für Reklamezwecke verwendbar zu machen.
Die Zeichnung stellt in Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht einer Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes vor Gebrauch dar, Fig. 2 zeigt eine Seitenansicht hiezu, Fig. 3 die Karte in ihrer Stellung während des Gebrauches.
Mit 1 ist ein Rahmen bezeichnet für eine auswechselbare Tafel 2 (z. B. aus Karton), die auf der einen Seite als Speisenkarte verwendbar und auf der andern Seite zweckmässig mit Reklametext bedruckt ist. Die untere Seite des Rahmens ist mit ScharnierhUisen 3, 4 und 5 versehen, deren Bolzen in entsprechend Scharnierhülsen eingreifen, die an einer Leiste 6 angeordnet sind, welche die beiden Tischklammern 7 und 8 verbindet, die überdies noch durch eine zweite Leiste 9 gegeneinander versteift sind.
Mit 10, 11 sind zwei Anschlagnasen bezeichnet, die die Tafel beim Aufstellen in die Stellung gemäss Fig. 3 dadurch stützen, dass sie sich gegen die Oberseite der Leiste 6 legen.
In der Stellung gemäss Fig. 1 und 2 liegt die Tafel flach auf dem Tisch und zeigt dem Gast, der Platz nimmt, die als Speisenkarte bedruckte Seite. Wenn der Gast zu essen beginnt, klappt er die Tafel in die Stellung gemäss Fig. 3, so dass sie nunmehr an Stelle der üblichen Servietten zum Schutz der Kleider dient und dem Gast während des Essens ständig die mit Reklametext bedruckte Seite zeigt. Um in dieser Lage beim Essen möglichst wenig zu hindern, ist die Tafel, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, an der Kante, die dem Gast zugekehrt ist, nach einem flachen Bogen ausgeschnitten.

The subject of the invention is a holder for menus or the like, which makes it possible to use the card as a napkin protection sheet and, if necessary, also for advertising purposes.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 a plan view of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention before use, Fig. 2 shows a side view thereof, Fig. 3 shows the card in its position during use.

The lower side of the frame is provided with hinge sleeves 3, 4 and 5, the bolts of which engage in corresponding hinge sleeves which are arranged on a bar 6 which connects the two table brackets 7 and 8, which are also stiffened against each other by a second bar 9 .
With 10, 11 two stop lugs are designated, which support the board when it is set up in the position according to FIG. 3 in that they lie against the upper side of the bar 6.
In the position according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the board lies flat on the table and shows the guest who is seated the side printed as the menu. When the guest starts to eat, he folds the board into the position according to FIG. 3, so that it now serves to protect the clothes in place of the usual napkins and constantly shows the guest the side printed with the advertising text during the meal. In order to prevent as little hindrance as possible when eating in this position, the table, as can be seen in the drawing, is cut out on the edge facing the guest, following a flat arc.
