Sollen diese Falten nach Möglichkeit vermieden werden, so wird das Material auf der Aussenseite der Biegungsstelle beim Biegen sehr stark auf Zug beansprucht, so dass es sehr leicht rei#t. Man kann nämlich in diesem Fall das Material auf der Innenseite der Biegungsstelle nicht genügend zusammendrücken, so dass auf der Aussenseite eine sehr starke Dehnung auftritt.
