Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Process for the preparation of durable, sterilizable solutions, which contain phosphorus in organic bonds as well as bound gold.
The salts of dialkylaminoarylphosphinous acid described in D.R.P. No. 397813 decompose when their aqueous solutions are heated, with the corresponding aromatic bases being split off.
The surprising observation has now been made that completely durable and sterilizable solutions can be obtained if solutions of the above-mentioned dialkylaminoaryl phosphinous acid salts and the gold solutions described in patent specification No. 106213 are allowed to act on one another. Presumably it is a question of the formation of complex deposits.
In this way, solutions of high therapeutic value are obtained, which can be injected without any irritation and which, in animal experiments as well as in extensive clinical trials, have shown no harmful side effects - even when using high doses - on the other hand, an excellent healing effect in the treatment of tubercular processes to have.
EMI1.1
This is because clinical trials have shown that phosphorus in the form of dialkylaminoarylphosphinic acids is a valuable aid in curing tuberculous diseases, and the analeptic properties of these phosphorus compounds have also been proven pharmacologically and clinically, especially in gold treatment, which is often great The demands placed on the heart muscle are important.
Example: 100 g gold sodium thiosulphate and 25 g pure sodium thiosulphate are dissolved together in 5 l water; a solution of 50 g of sodium p-dimethylaminotolylphosphinous acid in 5 i! Add water and sterilize in the usual way in flowing steam; the solution remains perfectly clear.
The mixing ratio of the components can be varied within wide limits. To achieve the desired effect, the solutions can either be brought together and sterilized, or the solid substances can be mixed, then dissolved and then sterilized.
