Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Reinigungsvorrichtung für Staubfilter.
EMI1.1

Cleaning device for dust filters.
EMI1.1
Two or more armed inclined surface blades rotating parallel to the filter surfaces alternately suck in the filter cloth with one arm and push it off with the other, causing the filter cloth to move constantly and thereby shake off the adhering dust.
Fig. 1 shows the invention in transverse view, Fig. 2 in longitudinal view with the housing sketched in section and Fig. 3 shows a wing in plan view with filter surfaces shown schematically. "
The cleaning device consists of a number of two-armed or multi-armed inclined surface vanes 2 fastened to the shaft 1 by means of a hub, the two opposite vane arms of which have the same inclined direction to the plane.
This has the effect that two opposite wing arms each generate differently directed axial wind flows (as indicated in Fig. 3), whereby the air flow generated by one wing arm sucks in the part of the filter cloth opposite the wing, while the air flow coming from the opposite wing repels the relevant part of the cloth. This is set in a continuous pulsating movement, whereby the dust attached to it during the passage of air is shaken off. The housing surrounding the filter cells or cleaning device is indicated by 4.
