Gemauerter Deckel für elektrisch geheizte Glühöfen.
Bei elektrisch geheizten Glühöfen ist es erforderlich, von Zeit zu Zeit die in den Ofen eingebauten Heizelemente nachzusehen, auszubessern oder auszuwechseln. Zu diesem Zweck ist vorgeschlagen worden, den Deckel des Ofens abhebbar zu machen und die Heizelemente wenigstens zum Teil am Deckel zu befestigen. Bei grösseren Öfen, bei denen ausschliesslich gemauerte Deckel verwendet werden und die eine gewisse Länge überschreiten, würde nun der Ofendeckel ausserordentlich schwer werden. Aus diesem Grunde wird nach der Erfindung der Ofendeckel quer zur Ofenlängsachse in einzelne Stücke unterteilt, deren jedes für sich in einem Eiseniahmen ruht und Ösen od. dgl. zur Aufhängung des Deckels am Kran besitzt.
In der Zeichnung ist ein solcher Ofendeckel perspektivisch dargestellt. Er ist aus einzelnen Teilen b zusammengesetzt, die auf dem Ofenkörper a aufruhen. Jeder einzelne Teil b wird in einem Eisenrahmen c gehalten und ist mit Aufhängeösen d versehen ; e sind die Klemmen zu den Heizwiderstandselementen f. Beim Ausbau derselben brauchen lediglich die elektrischen Verbindungsdrähte gelöst zu werden, worauf jeder Deckelteil b für sich vom Ofenkörper a abgehoben werden kann.
