Induction protection for low-voltage cables laid alongside electric railways.

It is known that the potential to earth caused by the inductive effect of the traction current in the wires, which is laid along electrical lines, is electrically connected to the lead sheath by reducing the ohmic resistance of the cable jacket and increasing the induction of the cable Copper conductor on a Mindels; mats can be depressed.

These protective lines lead you against your and the cable cores from the catenary
 EMI1.1
By increasing this phase angle it is possible to reduce the resulting effective voltage in the wires to a minimum.

The above-mentioned installation of the protective lines in the cable results in higher material costs on the one hand, since it increases the diameter of the cable, on the other hand it is not possible to adapt the induction protection, which is difficult to access for the calculation, to the operating conditions during installation.

According to the invention, outside and in the immediate vicinity of the cables laid along electrical lines, a protective rope of any material is laid, which can be connected to the lead sheath or to the armature of the cable at various points. This protective arrangement also has the advantage that the protective effect can be checked while it is being laid, so that if it does not completely meet the requirements, you have it in hand, the protective rope in cross section by adding appropriate protective ropes in parallel with the first Enlarge rope.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Induction protection for low-current cables laid alongside electric railways, characterized in that protective ropes are laid outside the cables on the cable section exposed to the action of the traction current and connected to the lead sheath and the cable fitting at any point.
